What does a Homeopathic consultation involve?
NEW CLIENTS
Please book a free 30 minute Discovery Call with me first so we can have a chat about how Homeopathy can help you.
I now don’t accept bookings for first Consultations unless you have had a Discovery Call with me first.
That’s because it’s important to find the right person to work with and the right treatment for the issues you need help with.
It’s completely confidential and no obligation to book.
Then if you would like to work with me we can then book you in for your First Consultation and take it from there!
First Consultation
The first consultation takes about 90 minutes to allow for a thorough evaluation of your health overall. You will be asked to give detailed information about your presenting complaint, current health, health history and family health history.
You will be asked about you as a person, your likes and dislikes, worries, fears, what makes your condition worse or better, when the problem started, family history, sleep, digestion, stress and so on.
You may also be given nutritional advice and recommendations concerning your diet, supplements & other treatments. This will be discussed at the end of the session or the information will be sent to you afterwards.
I may prescibe a Homeobotanical blend if I think you would benefit from one. More information on Homeobotanicals here.
Follow up appointments
These are booked at your initial consultation and are typically 4-6 weeks to continue and manage your treatment. The frequency of your follow up appointments will depend on your case. First aid and acute complaints tend to respond quickly but chronic illnesses may require a longer treatment time. We will usually see some results within 3 consultations.
All consultations are strictly confidential and as a member of the Irish Society of Homeopaths I am bound by the ISH Code of Ethics.
Cancellation Policy – Please provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment in order to avoid being charged a fee. A 50% fee is charged for late cancellations or no-show.
IBAN, cheque, cash, Revolut accepted
I do not currently accept credit or laser cards
Health Insurance
Most private health insurance companies provide rebates for appointments with Registered Homeopaths.
